  • Avoid sun and UV exposure 7 days before your treatment.

Discontinue use of prescription topicals, retinoids, or exfoliating products 7 days before your treatment. Consult your physician before discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

Avoid receiving hair removal of any kind, laser treatments, or injectables in the treatment area 2 weeks prior to treatment

Accutane must be discontinued for 6 months prior to any treatments.

∙ If pregnant, nursing, or have any relevant conditions, let your Facialist know to ensure customizations are suitable for your safety.

∙ Any active rashes, flares, or infections in the treatment area may not be suitable for treatment.

∙ Treatment may be postponed if any of the previous reasons will interfere with recommended treatment.

  • ∙ It is recommended to skip exercise and makeup for the rest of the day. Your skin has been intensively treated + prepped with some amazing products- it's best to give your skin a rest day and give the skin time to get the best results out of your treatment.

∙ Depending on treatment, there may be downtime. Always follow your Facialist’s post care instructions to ensure optimal results.

∙ To maintain the best results, facials are recommended every 4-6 weeks.

  • Do facials have downtime? In general, no. Some treatments, such as Chemical Peels, may leave the skin with some redness and potential flaking and peeling over the course of 5-7 days. However, unless the service description includes downtime information, you should not expect to have downtime otherwise. Your provider will always let you know what to expect after your treatment.

Can I workout after? Avoid strenuous activity 24 hours after receiving a facial including exercise and sweating to give the skin some tlc and let all the treatment products have time to work their magic.

Howoften should I receive a facial? Facials are recommended every 4-6 weeks to maintain and improve skin goals.

When should I start receiving facials? Everyone has skin, so skincare is for any person or any age. It is always much easier to prevent rather than correct skin concerns, so starting before you have skin issues is always recommended. We do use caution when treating those under 18 (as well as anyone who just may have indications that are not recommended for facials). We always exercise what is best for the individual, but will always provide education & recommendation for care if in spa treatments are the best fit.
